These Terms and Conditions govern all freight forwarding and logistics services provided by Nile Valley Shipping through its website www.nvs-egypt.com and other communication channels. By using our services, clients agree to be bound by these terms.
Nile Valley Shipping acts as an agent for the Customer in arranging freight forwarding services including transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, and related logistics services using third-party carriers and agents.
The Company will perform services based on Customer’s instructions. If instructions are inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed, Nile Valley Shipping is entitled to act as it sees fit at the Customer’s risk and expense, After providing advice and counsel in the manner we see fit .
The Company’s liability is limited to the terms specified herein and excludes liability for delays, damages, or losses caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities, or other agents beyond its control.
Charges quoted by Nile Valley Shipping are subject to change based on actual carrier rates, fuel surcharges, customs fees, taxes, currency fluctuations, and other applicable costs.
The Customer shall be responsible for all duties, taxes, charges, and expenses incurred in connection with the shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The Customer must provide all necessary documentation ex (invoices, packing lists, import/export permits …. etc.) accurately and timely to enable customs clearance and shipment processing. The Company shall not be responsible for delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate documents.
Nile Valley Shipping does not automatically insure shipments unless expressly requested by the Customer in writing.
The Company will offer assistance to arrange insurance but is not liable for loss or damage beyond its own negligence.
While company has its own insurance covering error damage.
The Company will exercise reasonable care and effort to ensure timely shipment and delivery but does not guarantee specific transit times.
The Company is not liable for force majeure events, including but not limited to weather, strikes, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.
Nile Valley Shipping’s total liability under any contract shall not exceed the freight charges paid for the shipment or any other agreed amount.
Under no circumstances shall the Company be liable for any consequential, indirect, or punitive damages.
The Company respects Customer data privacy in accordance with applicable laws and will not disclose confidential information except as required for shipment processing or by law.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Egypt. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Egypt.
Nile Valley Shipping reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice, with updated versions published on www.nvs-egypt.com.
